Day 7 ... Bryce Canyon via Capitol Reef National Park

This morning, we left Arches National Park and headed to Bryce Canyon National Park via Capitol Reef National Park and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

Pictures from today will have to wait, as the internet connection is just too slow to upload the photos right now ... I'm just happy that we have any service at all here in our campground at Bryce Canyon.

Capitol Reef National Park is a scenic wonderland. In addition to viewing the scenery, we took a short hike through a canyon and picked Apricots from one of the fruit orchards in the park.

After leaving Capitol Reef, we headed to Bryce. The route we chose took us through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The scenery here was at times, breath-taking, and the road we had to travel was a white knuckle adventure.

We finally arrived at Bryce Canyon at around 7:00 and got settled in at our camp.

Tomorrow, we'll spend sight-seeing Bryce Canyon, and then drive to Zion National Park late in the afternoon. Fortunately, the drive to Zion is only 85 miles, or about two hours.

The days have been very long, and at the end of each day, we're pretty beat, but we're having a great time.

That's about it for now ... back again tomorrow!
