Itinerary - Day 14

Today we drive from Yosemite National Park to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The drive from our campground to the Kings Canyon Park entrance is about 130 miles long and should take approximately 2 and a half hours.

When we arrive at the park, the plan is to take the scenic drives through the park and do some hiking to see the giant sequoia trees.

Assuming we get out early enough in the morning, we should have plenty of time to do everything that we want in these parks. The parks are actually very large, however, most of the park is made up of back country without any developed roads or hiking trails. We'll be sticking to the developed areas only.

Overall, this should be a pretty "easy" day, with some reasonably short drives and some relatively easy and short hikes. This should allow us to spend a fairly relaxed evening camping in the park in preparation for our drive tomorrow to Lake Mead, Arizona.
